About Me

Hi, I’m Miguel, the owner and breeder behind Kings Catch Aquatics, a Kansas City–area home-based freshwater aquarium business built around a genuine passion for fishkeeping and breeding.

What started as a hobby has grown into a goal of producing healthy, high-quality freshwater fish and shrimp right here in the Kansas City area. I’m especially interested in breeding species that are both beautiful and rewarding to keep, from colorful Neocaridina shrimp and livebearers to cichlids, plecos, and other unique freshwater species.

My goal is simple: raise healthy livestock, maintain strong breeding lines, and provide fellow hobbyists with fish and shrimp I’m proud to put my name behind.

I believe locally bred aquarium livestock can offer hobbyists a better experience—fish that are raised in stable home-aquarium conditions, carefully selected, and handled with the same care I give my own tanks.

As Kings Catch Aquatics grows, I plan to expand our breeding projects and eventually offer an even wider selection of captive-bred freshwater fish, shrimp, and other aquarium livestock to the Kansas City community.
